Christy Cardenas is a Managing Partner at Grit Ventures, an early-stage deep tech fund focused on robotics, AI and clean energy based in Austin, Texas, US.
This is the second year that Christy will be drawing on her expertise as she joins our startup competition judging panel.
We asked her why it's important that early-stage tech startups should enter the Future of Capitalism competition.
"I think the biggest reason to participate in the competition is the people that are involved. There’s a really important set of partners, Leo Lion is a great organisation with a great cause, and Larry Sullivan the founder and person behind it, is not only a successful serial entrepreneur who can help get you connected and validate you in special ways, but he’s got a heart of gold.
He’s looking to help the world, just like you are as an entrepreneur and that’s a really rare combination.
The competition is truly the opportunity of a lifetime.
Tech startups - the 24/25 Future of Capitalism competition deadline is 30 September 2024 and all you need to enter is a pitchdeck and a business plan.
